SAN DIEGO\/LOS ANGELES, CA (August 5, 2022) \u2013 IDW<\/a> (NYSE American: IDW), a leading media company providing uniquely compelling stories and characters in various genres for global audiences across all entertainment platforms, today announced a development deal with \u00c1nima<\/a> (Aztec Batman: <\/em>Clash of Empires, Legend Quest, Space Chickens in Space<\/em>), the leading animation studio in Latin America, with operations based in Mexico City, Madrid, Canary Islands and Buenos Aires. Under the partnership, the team will develop and produce an adult animated television series based on IDW Publishing\u2019s Brutal Nature <\/em>comic books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a growing slate of projects in development for 2022, IDWE continues to produce the Netflix hit Locke & Key<\/em>; its third and final season drops August 10th. In addition, IDWE\u2019s newest Apple TV+ series, Surfside Girls<\/em> (based on the Kim Dwinell Top Shelf graphic novels) debuts on August 19th, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
