{"id":28788,"date":"2023-01-30T15:17:17","date_gmt":"2023-01-30T20:17:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gayleague.com\/?p=28788"},"modified":"2023-01-30T15:17:22","modified_gmt":"2023-01-30T20:17:22","slug":"wrightwood-659-announces-kongkee-warring-states-cyberpunk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gayleague.com\/wrightwood-659-announces-kongkee-warring-states-cyberpunk\/","title":{"rendered":"Wrightwood 659 Announces Kongkee: Warring States Cyberpunk"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Wrightwood 659 Announces Spring Exhibitions April 14\u00a0\u2013 July\u00a015, 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Kongkee: Warring States Cyberpunk\u00a0<\/em>features the work of award-winning animation director and visual artist\u00a0Kong Khong-chang, known as\u00a0Kongkee. <em><strong>Part comic book<\/strong><\/em>, part motion picture, part meditation on history, the exhibition is presented through dazzling animated vignettes projected across walls and on screens.\u00a0<em>Kongkee: Warring States Cyberpunk<\/em>\u00a0traces the story of legendary Chinese poet Qu Yuan as his soul journeys from the ancient Chu Kingdom to an imagined 21<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0century Asia of cyborgs, electric rock, and romantic reunions.
